Hello SoCal Hoops Families!

I am pleased to announce that we had a very successful Winter Training Program with over 10 committed players (check out the video clips below).  We completed several training sessions using multiple Covid prevention protocols.  I am proud to say that we experienced ZERO Covid outbreaks.  All players and families are safe.

Also, I am pleased to say that we have secured additional gym time to offer a new specialized basketball training targeted for elementary, middle, and high school players.  We will be focusing on SKILLS development, PERFORMANCE training, and MENTAL strength.  No other program offers these training options with certified and qualified coaches.

All of our coaches are certified under their training expertise.  Several coaches from our staff also hold PhDs, Master, and undergraduate degrees in sports and clinical psychology, kinesiology, and exercise science.  

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be practicing primarily outdoors with some indoor training.  Players can attend all training sessions based on their comfort level.  Also, we will be taking temperatures, using hand sanitizer, wearing masks, and practicing social distancing as much as possible.  Also, we will limit physical contact between players as much as possible

New Training program starts this Saturday and Sunday January 16/17, 2021 at 3:30p.m.-4:30p.m. @ Iron Dust Crossfit Center 9144 Jordan Ave. Chatsworth, CA 91311.

PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR BOYS AND GIRLS GRADES 3rd - 12th

PLAYERS CAN ATTEND AS MANY HOURS AS THEIR SCHEDULE PERMITS!​
TRAINING SCHEDULE @ Iron Dust Cross-fit Gym located at 9144 Jordan Ave. Chatsworth, CA 91311.   
  • We will be using portable basketball goals from www.360Shooter.net at the facility and have plans to install a permanent goal inside.
  • All of the training sessions will be held at Iron Dust Cross-fit Gym.  We expect to secure more gym time as local gyms open up.
  • There will be some optional training sessions on Saturday and Sunday early mornings where we will be running full court at a different facility in Chatsworth.

Here is the full schedule: 
  • Sundays: 3:30p.m.-4:30p.m. 
  • Saturdays: 3:30p.m.-4:30p.m.
  • Wednesdays: 7:30p.m.-8:30p.m.
  • Additional 1-1.5hrs planned for during the week or Sat. morning.

18 Total Available Training Hours Per Month 
Standard rate = $250 ($14/hr)
(Other trainers charge $30-$50+ per hour)
