SoCal Hoops 12U Parents,
I am pleased with the overall progress the team has made during the last several months. Coach K and I have been more demanding on the players and it is starting to pay off. I feel confident that we will be 100% ready for our Vegas tourney next week. Please note the following practice schedule:
Please keep all the players safe, healthy and injury free this week.
Also, we are making the Vegas trip an annual tradition with this year being our 2nd year of participation. Last year, we were able to reward our players with new shoes, new uniforms, backpacks, and Beats headphones. For this year, I was planning for multiple corporate sponsorships but unfortunately, they have not materialized. I sent the following flyer (see below) to several companies but was not able to secure any significant donations.
Each player will be responsible for paying the tourney fee of $100. Again, I was anticipating to receive some corporate sponsorship to cover these fees but was not able to. Thus, I am asking all families to please donate any amount you can to the team to help us purchase some team gear and alleviate tourney costs. My gift to the boys will be new white uniforms for the team and I have reached out to other friends and family members about sponsorship opportunities. All donations are 100% tax deductible. I want to reward our players for a year of hard work, but more importantly the work they have put in the classroom and not just on the court. As you may know, many of our players have received high grades for the school year and I want to reward that.

VEGAS TOURNEY ACTIVITY AND GAME SCHEDULE
Hi Parents, please note that everything except for the game times and magic show are tentative. I would like all of our families to try to participate in the other extracurricular activities. Make sure to bring all uniform colors for each and every game. I will also communicate any changes via text.
